The Winery

winery The Winery is an independent segment of the overall project, open to participation regardless of participation in the Farmhouse and/or purchase of an individual plot on the Ridge. BTF has reached agreements with well known operating winemakers/distributors here in Bali, fully licensed. BTF research, and initial tests conducted since 2009 indicate that it is very possible to drastically improve the quality of the grapes and therefore the wine made in here in Bali.

BTF is experimenting with Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese vines imported from Italy, and other Italian coastal areas heirloom varieties (Nero d’Avola, Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Aleatico Rosso, and others). BTF has achieved very favorable terms at which they produce our private label made from BTF grapes, and the numbers look very interesting. In addition, BTF is in conducting negotiations aimed at acquiring its own license.
